By the very nature of our service we become involved at the earliest stages
of product development, often recommending modifications to specifications
and materials which can have substantial commercial values. In maintaining
a high level of security and confidentiality we have retained the long-term
confidence of our customers.
We are occasionally asked to allow a KLETS report to be used as an
endorsement and, while the possibility is tempting, it should be considered
that under current legislation manufacturers could be obliged to disclose
such documentation in the event of litigious proceedings.
KLETS reports are "warts and all" and it may not be an advantageous to have
potential defects, as well as plus points placed at the disposal of the legal
profession.
